∆8-THC is a legal compound, per the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (aka. the Farm Bill). It’s found naturally in trace amounts within the hemp plant. In order to sell it commercially, ∆8-THC most often derived from CBD found in the hemp plant.
Psychoactive
Delta-8 is responsible for mild psychotropic sensations. The experience is described as either sleepy or uplifting, and less potent than other forms of THC.
Binds to the CB1 Receptors
Cannabinoid receptors are found throughout the body. They’re a part of our endocannabinoid system. Delta-8 THC binds to the CB1 Receptors in the brain & central nervous system.
